Managing Partner at Hyperlight Ventures
Leveraging the power of markets to make the world a better place
Welcome to my home on the internet. My name is Evan Maindonald and I am the General Partner of HyperLight Ventures. I am also the author of Breaking New Ground, a book that explains the property development process and how it is likely to be impacted by technology in the future.
I have been programming computers since I was 12 years old. After completing a BSc in Computer Science, I worked in the IT industry in New Zealand before moving to the UK in the early 90’s. After working for BT for a decade and ending up running a business unit with revenues of over £1bn, I completed an MBA at IMD in Lausanne. I then worked for a technology startup before starting a property development and investment company.
I have over 25 years of experience in Property Development and investment and I frequently write on property issues and finance topics for the national and trade press. I speak at national and international property sector events, and regularly appear on Property TV
